Mail Signature for Outlook Mobile - User Experience limitations.

Outlook mobile on iOS and Android also supports the officeatwork Mail Signature add-in for Outlook. However, the Outlook mobile platform provided by Microsoft currently does not support panes. The officeatwork Mail Signature Add-in uses panes to allow users to choose and configure the signatures supplied to them. That is why the officatwork Add-in for Outlook on mobile devices will use the settings of the last used signature used on any desktop version of Outlook. This is also why users will not see or find any officeatwork Mail Signature buttons on their mobile devices, but they will get the late signature automatically applied.

Note: If you are not getting any signatures applied in Outlook for Mobile, please check if your Mail Signature setup matches the following conditions.

  1. officeatwork Mail Signature Add-in is deployed for the user using Microsoft 365 centralized deployment.
  2. The latest version of the officeatwork Mail Signature add-in has been deployed to the user. This can be checked in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Any updates for the add-in should be visible in the list of deployed add-ins.
  3. The user successfully created a new message in Outlook for the desktop with an email signature automatically inserted by the officeatwork Mail Signature Add-in.
  4. The user is using the latest version of Outlook on the mobile device (iPhone or Android phone)
  5. The user created a new e-mail on his mobile device and waited a few seconds (can take a few seconds depending on device, network, size of signature, and if it is the first time the signature gets inserted)

If all of this is met, the user should see the same signature inserted as it was last inserted on the desktop version of Outlook.
